I’m sick of people wrongly defining bisexuality. It’s not ‘attraction to both men and women’ it’s about being attracted to ‘bi’ things like bicycles, binoculars, bilinguals and binary coding smh
So glad someone finally cleared this up.
when i suggest that a character or relationship might be queer i get accused by my straight peers that i’m reading too much into things/forcing my beliefs on everyone and yet for 19 years of my life i have had straight interpretations of characters forced upon me and no one seems to give a shit
i actually had this conversation today
That’s it, WE CAN ALL GO HOME NOW. There won’t ever be a better graphic that summarizes sexist double standards in today’s geek culture.
THIS IS OUR CULTURE IN A NUTSHELL.
What? Bisexual? She can’t be bisexual, you’re only bisexual if you’re actively fucking two people of two differing genders at the same exact time. The moment you stop fucking them you’re suddenly not bi anymore. It’s science.
I suppose that means we bi people exist in quantum superposition until someone observes us having sex.
[Image: Cute drawings of three couples, each with a label indicating what kind of couple they are: a gay cis man and bisexual trans man, a lesbian trans woman and a pansexual cis woman, and two polysexual nonbinary individuals. Underneath each is the caption: “We are a queer couple able to reproduce.”]
can we stop referring to all sex that could possibly result in pregnancy as “heterosexual reproduction” now
(Also, “pregnant person” does not necessarily mean “woman” for the seventy-millionth time)
i’ve basically been looking at pictures of white-necked ravens for hours (instead of working on my graphic novel thing goddamn) because they are cute as heck
